What data we collect and why

Candidate data

We collect personal data about candidates to assist in the recruitment process. This includes information you provide directly — typically via your CV — such as your name, contact details, work and education history, and eligibility to work in the UK. We may also collect publicly available professional information via LinkedIn and other job boards.

We process this data to:

• Identify and assess your suitability for relevant roles

• Introduce you to clients as a potential employee, with your prior knowledge and consent

• Contact you about opportunities that may be of interest

We do not share your data with any third party without your prior knowledge and consent.

Client data

We hold contact and professional information about client contacts for the purposes of managing our business relationships and delivering our services.

Website data

Our website is hosted on Squarespace. When you visit our site, basic analytics data is collected automatically, including pages visited, time spent on the site, device type and approximate location. This data is anonymised and used solely to understand how our site is used. No personally identifiable information is collected through website visits alone.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies — small text files placed on your device by your browser. Squarespace uses cookies for essential site functionality and basic analytics. You can control cookie settings through your browser. By continuing to use our site you accept the use of cookies in line with this policy.

Data processors

We use the following third party services to process data on our behalf:

• Squarespace — website hosting and analytics

• SourceWhale — candidate and client relationship management

Both are GDPR-compliant processors operating under appropriate data processing agreements.

How long we keep your data

Candidate data is retained for a maximum of five years from the date of last contact. At that point we will contact you to request updated consent or delete your data.

Client contact data is retained for as long as we have an active or recent business relationship.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your data at any time

• Withdraw consent at any time

• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
